Search Methodology
 
Each search assignment is different in nature and we customize our process according to the need of the client and the mandate. In general, however, the search process includes the following stages:

Briefing from the client – A well detailed understanding is taken from the client with respect to the search mandate, organizational structure, goals and expansion plans and the key attributes of the profiles sought including cultural fitment.

Search Outline is built and timelines are set based on the nicheness of the position, the availability of the talent and the criticality of the process. Our experience and intimate market knowledge will enable us to assess realistic demands and expectations.

Candidate Identification – Potential candidates will be identified and researched predominantly by the way of mapping the predefined target companies, our exhaustive database which is being continuously updated and through headhunting and networking.
 
Strategy Review – Regular review sessions with the client are conducted in order to detail targeted organizations and individuals and provide feedback on market reaction towards your organization and the said positions. In some cases, the entire mapping of the available talent for the particular position is also shared with the client so that they can relook into the job specs, in case there is a disconnect between the available talent and the job requirement.

Candidate Evaluation – Qualified candidates identified during the course of the search will be interviewed and evaluated against the agreed job specs. Whenever possible, an informal reference check is also done for short listed candidates.

Candidate Presentation – After the thorough candidate evaluation and short listing from our side, the detailed profile is presented to the client with the reasons for the recommendation and the interviews and subsequent interactions are scheduled between the candidate and the client.

Facilitating – We will guide and lead the candidate throughout the interview process. We will have a close contact with the client and the preferred candidate at all times so as to resolve any issues if they come up.

Reference Checking – If the client demands, we will do the detailed reference check of the selected candidate.

Follow-Up – Post appointment, we will still hand hold the client to ensure the candidate’s successful integration into your organization.

V. Subramaniam, Founder and Managing Director

Subramaniam, fondly called as “Subbu” in the industry circles is one of those few people in the industry who have followed their dreams and led to the highly successful business ventures.

He started his career as a liaison agent for textile and apparel industry in the US. In 1999, he launched his own brand of African apparels and marketed them to the Afro-Americans in the US and achieved remarkable success with a turnover of one million dollars in its very first year of operation.

With his unconventional and out of the box approach, Subbu identified a business opportunity in the evolving BPO segment and launched 'Call Center College' , the first ever retail and corporate training institute in South India a decade back. Subbu also is the founder and CEO of Convergeon and led to the significant growth there as well , while at the same time charting Convergeon's progress into implementing its successful B2B and B2C recruiting and training solutions for the Indian market.

Through Provisio HR, he has now entered the search and staffing business of the HR spectrum and intends to make it the undisputable leader in the segment.

Subbu earned Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Instrumentation Technology from Bangalore University.
